Hi Uncle Bill - Here goes nothing. This is my first post of any investment kind and Im not afraid to admit it. I recently bought into CPTC and I've been reading many posts for a few days so go easy on me willygoodshot especially since we're blood. I am a chemical engineer with 10 years experience in composites. My first question would be does - CPTC have all their intellectual property secured, i.e. international patents since China has been known to play unfair? Also, I would like to mention Resin Systems (RSSYF) the Canadian composite utility pole manufacturer. In comparing with CPTC, the process and materials are different and hence their markets would only slightly overlap. CPTC uses a vinyl ester resin (I think) and pultrusion, it is less expensive and faster than the polyurethane resin and filament winding process used by RSSYF. The impact strength of the latter being somewhat better especially in extreme cold. I hope this is helpful.
