i have been to thousands of shows in my life. thousands. i have never heard a band try to sell shirts on stage. plus they get a bigger "vig" from the shirts that sell at the arena than they do from LYJN. please remember that LYJN licenses the lyrics from a publisher, the band doesnt see that much of the nut at the end of the day.

In a situation like SPW opening for gaga - they are there as entertainment while people take their seats and roll in for gaga. i can promise you as soon as the lights go down and gaga starts with her theatrics - very few if any people in the house will be remembering SPW after the show.

My point in my previous post is that this this i a far cry from Fergie playing a private LYJN fashion show that is showing off a Beatles line. you cant spin it. the even this week doesnt hold a candle to the days of old.
