They aren't that slow on land either, for short burst. They can lift their bodies up, and straighten out their legs if they want?

On NatGeo 2 big Crocs were battling, one was trying to oust the king of the pond, he was huge. The other thought he measured up, but it was a bad call,,,,,,,he lost more than half of his upper mouth,,,,,,,,,,,,it looked terrible. They said he would survive but he would be at the very end when it came to meal time.

I felt bad for him, what a terrible way for him to live out his life......... the adult Australian, or the famous Nile, and African Croc can weigh in at over a ton and grow more than 20ft.
