HollywoodNews.com: All while getting prepared to have a child, Ne-Yo is also making big plans for his next album. Ne-Yo had originally been asked by Michael Jackson to write him some songs, but before anything happened with them, Jackson passed away.
Since he can no longer give those songs to Jackson, he is hoping to make a Michael Jackson tribute album, so long as he gets the approval and help of Jackson’s family, reports Hollyscoop. “I can’t give them to anybody else because they were written for Michael – that would be disrespectful. So if I could get Janet and the brothers to do a collaborative tribute that would be a great idea,” Ne-Yo revealed.
Jackson had reportedly picked out which songs he liked and would have used, but Ne-Yo is adamant about not moving forward without the support of those closest to Michael.
