Oz, it is deeply gratifying to know that i have caused someone to laugh or forced a simple smile upon one's face, so i thank you for sharing that info.
I can assure you that i know what accumilated deficit is and i know the meaning of 'bankrupt'. While some may find humor in my post, i am certain that any serious prospective investor following ASFX will not think the context of that post to be a laughing matter.
To your point, "It could take years to turn that balance sheet entry into a positive one" this is often true with such companies as say biotech or pharma companies seeking a new drug. However, it is difficult to assign such a label to ASR. While one might present the argument that ASR may have 'aquired' much of this accumilated deficit it is still not in the same catagory and the only beneficiary would appear to be Jason Roth and safe guard tech. (in the absence of any collusion of course).
The NDD has been around for over 10 years now, so yes there is obviously a great deal of 'accumilated deficit' attached to it's failure. ASR has no research or technology associated to the thermo; only the failed endeavor of the thermofocus so i suppose That adds to any 'accumilated deficit as well. Point being ASR is niether a bio tech or pharma company, etc, for which such an excuse could be seriously made. So, ASFX continues to opertate at the sole expense of shareholders, shareholders who are gamnbling that ASR will somehow take two products, previously failed products, and turn them into shareholder equity.
This is the reality of the situation, ASFX management is somehow now expected to succeed, using the same staff, where they have failed in the past. GLTY Dog
