I started buying on 6/6/08. Posted some back then, mostly watched and learned, and enjoyed the daily show (and postings) of the shop cams.

Then I just watched. And rode it down, deep down. :)

I agree with you all about communication. There is no excuse for it but there are reasons. Letting Steve Haag go was a mistake from MY POV, and at least he should have been replaced.

Another reason probably has to do with the personalities involved. Not everyone has the charisma to be in the spotlight. Not everyone has a thick skin. Not everyone is quick on their feet in the face of tricky questions. Not everyone is able to explain things within the SEC rules. But everyone is capable of getting their feelings hurt, of saying "screw it" and slamming the door (under the misguided rationale that "silence is golden").

I don't know these individuals and the dynamics between them well enough to suggest any of this is true. I will say that Ms. Mayeux is gracious, gentile and direct. The fact that they brought her on speaks highly of management IMO. Her background and training looks good to me, too.
