I agree. I think Intel keeps it cards very close to it's vest on wireless, they don't want the competition to know what they are up to. And T.I. has what we used to call the incumbant advantage, all things being equal, an OEM will usually buy from a company that they have been doing business with for years. In order to unseat the incumbent vendor, you have to have some really compelling features or cost benefit.

I wonder if the Intel Inside program would work in the cell phone market (with a much smaller logo, of course)? The revenue dollars are much lower, so the advertising contribution would also be much lower. And I'm not sure that the cell phone OEM's would want to follow the PC OEM's down that road.
