Neoware rises 14% on Q2 results

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Neoware Systems Inc. shares rose 14 percent in Tuesday evening trading after the software company reported second-quarter profit rose 48 percent.
The company's shares rose as much as $1.24 to $10.20
Neoware (NWRE: news, chart, profile) said its second-quarter earnings were $2.1 million, or 13 cents a share, up from $1.4 million, or 9 cents a share, a year ago.
The King of Prussia, Pa.-based company said its revenue increased to $20.5 million from $15.3 million a year earlier.
Neoware said it expects to have revenue growth of 20 percent to 30 percent, or higher, in 2005 over the prior year.
