NICE POST. In keeping some optimism amidst adversity, FWIW on behalf of a friend:

"I'm tempted but not unloading more XYZ to get QASP @ .0049. XYZ is diversification, maybe a hedge - depending on one's definition - and the ratio is stretched.

Oct. 7 Annual Mtg. - - - yes, that looks like a good celebration [ Relief !!! ] date. Also provides DB some motivation to "get 'er done."

FWIW - my Reasons QAI should succeed:
- Even with Solaroli keeping his Patent, there must be some use agreement w/ CET.
DB should have negotiated good terms - - - he must have known Solaroli's unsavory reputation. (My comment: let's hope...)

- MS : we knew it was a stretch for them to be ready this soon - schedule published in '09 called for commercial operations to begin in '11.

- Vertically-integrated airplane business makes sense.
Yesterday, I read 2 things in a post about another airplane-related business moving to JAX:
- Recent [when = ?] State law change makes FL attractive to airplane-related businesses
- Jacksonville has a relevant skilled labor force & - for some reason - good "location"
(Kansas has good location too: 50% of the world's small planes are made there)

By February those 30 - 50 cent / share predictions could come true.

- Tigerfish should work out, and early news next Winter / Spring might cause a pop.
MS & Bell Parts & Flight School cash flow should provide working capital - at least enough to borrow against (!).
VLJ was too cheap to pass up, esp. w/ James Ray available to run it."

Hoping for better days! Hopefully "keeping the faith" is a good idea!
