You talk about the brokerage/MMs like they are entities... they are people buying and selling through their brokerages...

When ETMM was on the ask at .0004 that was someone offering to sell their shares through Etrade for .0004...

The arrival of VFIN on the bid is someone trying to buy through First Colonial Securites...

The reason NITE didn't participate is because no one is trying to buy or sell through them...

They are not evil companies playing games... although there can be people playing games through them behind the scenes...
