O2 Wireless Retains Industry Leader VCOMM Wireless to Assist With Radio Frequency Design in the Dominican Republic
Through Subsidiary, Earthcom Services Inc., Company Streamlines Tower Construction Strategy by Engaging Notable Telecom Engineering Firm
O2 Secure Wireless, Inc. (Pink Sheets:OTOW) announces that the Company's subsidiary, Earthcom Service Inc., has entered into a Professional Service Agreement with highly acclaimed VCOMM LLC, a telecommunications engineering firm, to provide experienced Radio Frequency Engineers to assist in the network design of the wireless project being launched in the Dominican Republic.
VCOMM has experience in the Dominican Republic and has RF design software for that territory, bringing a significant advantage to O2 Wireless/Earthcom Service. VCOMM will supply the engineers and software in evaluating the signal strength and direction of every tower site, giving the Company a very competitive edge in wireless coverage and the location of the towers.
"Every factor must be carefully considered: terrain, vegetation, buildings, distance, and every type of frequency obstruction; most buildings are poured concrete with rebar construction, so building penetration of the RF signal can be challenging. By being able to bypass the acquisition of the software as well as the engineer training, it puts the Company in a great position to achieve an optimal construction strategy and save a significant amount of time and resources. It is also extremely important to know the signal penetration in the proposed coverage areas; this will allow us to provide the best signal strength to our future customers.
