I have talked to the IR at NXPN.. The phrase about how they intend to reduce the share structure, was a CYA (cover your ***) that the attorneys had suggested. The strong indications, I have received from IR who told me they were talking with both parties yesterday, the 1st priority is to the shareholders, and long-term growth. They told me that a reverse spilit will not be their first choice, but cancelling the shares and returning them to the treasury.
