I have a hunch that the NSers are in so deep that they are going deeper. Why? Remember the S&L debacle years ago? That was so large that the government HAD TO step in. I think that the perps that have stolen money are banking, LOL, on making the situation so serious as to cause fear in Washington about a failure of the market in some form. Remember Chrysler Corp and their bailout? If they can cause fear of insolvency, the government will have to find some way to stave off any collapse.
