benn, at these levels, the VIX is ONE INDICATOR signaling a top is near. it is right now around 12, but prior to this, the previous low was 11.14. So what i mean is that while i think it can go lower than that since it is in a downward sloping channel (and implying the market will move continue up), it is risky because it is already very low and indicating complacency.
