I had the same experience. Dump the crap on people who don't know any better. I once had a Merrill rep tell me, after about the 10th loser he had put me in, that the Merrill analysts were pretty good at picking stocks but that their timing was not so good. Well, Duh. All stocks go up and all stocks go down. It's knowing when they will do which is the trick.
