The page on COMEX I am looking at still shows 259212.

Hi JB,
As of yesterday's close, the COMEX gold futures open interest dropped another 5602 contracts to 253,610.

We're now down over a 120K contracts from the November highs (370's) and getting within hailing distance of the August 04 lows of 220K.

Can a bottom be far away....?
