VIX took a nice dive today.
VIX has been in a year long downward sloping channel the last year. If that channel is any indication, VIX may hit new low before turning. Obviously, with vix at these levels, it is a risk playing for a lower low.
Using a 50MA with 2 std dev seems to work fairly well in the last year.
