the numbers are what they are. every trade has a buyer and a seller. whether it is a short selling to short or a short buying to cover, it is still a short sale because a short is involved. how hard is that to understand? watch some other stocks with lower volume sometime and you will see. when short volume is greater than the selling volume it becomes obvious what the numbers mean. it includes selling to short and buying to cover. weeeeeeee
