I don't see gold as a buy until it hits its40 week low, which is due around the end of this month. the it'll be a nice trade to long side. Up until then I'd short any rally.

On a longer term basis - gold is in the last 18 month cycle of a 4.5 year cycle, so the larger scale trend is down into the 4.5 year low due around December.
