Actually Incheon, just outside. I guess we're all excited and thanks to everyone who kept vigil all night while I got a little shut-eye. Couple of little tidbits.
Someone asked about fuel. Got a verbal that they had to wire $200K to LAX to fuel up, obviously because we're new and don't have an account there, but the money was banked and allocated and management got it done, obviously.
As soon as the plane took off yesterday I shot an email of congratulations to ID & BC. BC wrote back...
"...it was awesome.......it took off like an angel. The Spirit of Kathleen is on her way to becoming the "Queen of Terminal 4"
As for me, well I'm going back to emailing (again) all the news reporters over the years who covered the story and see if they don't want to re-visit the story now. Should make for some interesting coverage. Anyone else, feel free to drop your favorite news reporter, whether they be local or national, a line that after 20 years of effort, we have a plane and it just traveresed the Pacific.
