The disclosure statement itemizes HU flower yields as flowers mature to three years, and how many Chinese acres were planted: 285 in 2007; 252 in 2008; none in 2009 (built drying facilities).
I've heard estimates of $25,000 net profit per acre for fully mature plants.
1) Does this mean $25,000 per Chineses acere (1/6 of U.S. acre)? 2) Are there any estimates of acreage being planted in 2010 (there are over 1,000 Chinese acres available for planting)?
These metrics imply net income contribution of approximately $.10 in the second half of 2010, and $.26 in 2011.
We will surely learn more about this in the upcoming conference call. But it the third quarter earnings that will really show the earnings growth.
