Audio message for 8/2/10....I hope Ike doesn't put one out unless it is earth-shattering news.

While on the surface the concept of weekly updates is good, ever since Ike implemented them we've gone down every day one was released, if memory serves me correct, and have been in a continual downward spiral ever since they have been going on.

The thing is is that Ike more or less rehashes old news or finally comes out with news that should've already been old (ie, news he was supposed to release weeks prior to any monday audio message).

The audio messages, imo, are viewed by the investing public as testimony to Ike "not getting the job done." Hence ambiguity, missed deadlines, missed actual quoted dollar figures and clients etc.

Until Ike comes out with an audio message that is concrete, clear, positive, and has a "bottom line impact" for the shares, every audio message will be met with the same ho-hum dissappointment that they've all been met with. It's almost better if he keeps his mouth shut...at least this way it would build tension and anticipation. Certainly keeping quiet can't do any worse to our shares than what has happened by Ike speaking.
