Call it what you want, but it is illegal FTD's and criminal in my opinion. They try and call it shorting (and nothing wrong with shorting when done by the rules), but i call this stealing
The whole purpose of a market maker is to provide liquidity and act as a conduit for the market, makeing profit off the spread along with the supposed responsibility to buy and sell when the market is lopsided, but they are holding it and selling air to keep it channeled...
