Secondly, from what I saw and discussed at RSNA, this is DICOM compatible.

I appologize if this option was removed and I am not aware of it. DICOM is a standard that isn't going away, it's reach is only getting larger and larger. DEAN and co. know this and wouldn't omit this from the design.

You should realize that you are answering questions from a person that has been proven to know nothing of this industry, but I commend you for your efforts.
