referenced is a link to, imo, some very good information.

this should help both you and noodleberry, et al, with dd on a few of the companies involved (there are others) in composite poles.

pages 11 AND 12 -the reference pages- have a wealth of reference links. lots of good information. remember though, believe some companies have merged and/or been bought by others since the time of this report. i still haven't gotten through all the information....
