Some time I recall reading a PR suggesting that apple was going to use MRNJ's operating platform for handhelds (iPhone, iPad,..). The PR suggested that the compression & speed of MRNJ's product was ~4-10x faster than what was previously available.

My Questions (from a non-tech person obviously):
[] Is that true, did apple adopt an MRNJ platform product to run it's apps & software?
[] If so, what can one expect as far as revenues from such an arrangement? Is it exclusive (meaning only one "platform product" is used across the board)? And, I seem to remember Android being names as soon-to-adopt, etc..

If any of this has materialized (is accurate & true) how can I confirm this info AND wouldn't it give MRNJ a leg up on App's since it is "their" platform these things run on.

Please help and set me straight on all this...THANKS in ADVANCE!!! (to anyone that can help shed light here,..i am technologically in the dark ages...sad, but true!)
