Ameritrade will take a limit order or a stop market order

If you read any of my previous posts, I do NOT enter an actual market limit or stop, but have a system that tells me when my "stop" price is getting close -- then I watch carefully and enter my limit order when the time is right .

If you want to preserve your cash or make some money ( imagine that) you have to be a little more sophisticated in your trading patterns. A market buy or sell doesn't really hack it.
