I'm curious why certain posters are continuously slipping this non-factual statement into posts. This is simply untrue and is revisionist history. This *story* came about well after the fact to justify the company's failure to stick with their promise of no increase in A/S!

There was no discussion of this *connection* until well after the fact. Certainly the company NEVER stated that the purpose of the divy was to avoid an A/S...

Back in the days when the divy was proposed, EXPH *friendlies* were touting the massive sales, profits, and cash flow that the company was generating... not the desperate need to raise money via a spinoff...

Show me the PR where the divy/A/S increase connection was explained BEFORE the A/S increase...
