Why invest in KAT Exploration?

Here's an idea (inspired by Gump90, thank you). Some say that KAT Exploration is nothing special - just one of many junior exploration companies trying to make it. Fair enough, that is an opinion that anyone is entitled to hold. My own DD tells me KAT is very special indeed, but what evidence do we have the KAT Exploration is better than the average, or perhaps even better than any out there?

Why don't we start a list of the qualities and attributes KATX and KATG have and the reasons why we have invested? If successful I'll sticky it. It might make a very useful "why invest?" list for newcomers to the board who are checking out KAT Exploration. Assuming enough contribute, I will keep the list compiled and fresh with the best of everyone's ideas.

So come on then... why invest in KAT Exploration (group)? Here's our starter for ten, please reply with your additions:

1. Drilling results expected any day on a property that has returned up to 158g/t Au

2. A JV option with the world's second largest mining company on a large tonnage, low grade copper prospect, with said mining company due to open a massive processing centre shortly that will be hungry for copper ore to process and which the CEO has estimated could be worth upwards of $5bn

3. Newfoundlands first ever IOCG deep drilling programme about to commence on a copper, gold, silver and REE prospect that has been likened by an independent geologist to the Olympic Dam mine in Australia, currently worth AU$1 Trillion (US$850bn)

4. Five other properties in Newfoundland totalling 335sq km and which all have reasonable to excellent chances for us to find commercially viable mineral deposits on.

5. A top quality Wall St attorney firm specialising in uplistings, R/Ms and so forth hired to assist with corporate growth

6. A CEO with the standing, character and reputation equal to our CEO Ken Stead.

7. Sufficient financial confidence to be able to state that exploration programmes for 2010 will include at least two additional properties (namely Clifton and Shaylee) to those already PR'd (Rusty Ridge and Handcamp of course)

8. Sufficient financial confidence to be able to grow the company by taking up a further option on another property with very excited gold and copper prospects and in the immediate vicinity of no less than three current or in the process of opening gold mines, with drilling already completed and part way to an NI 43-101 report.

9. (courtesy of Pro-Trader) up to $5m in financing and with the CEO showing consistent concern for shareholders in ensuring that the O/S remains as small as possible to protect shareholders' value.

10. Real plans to move off pinksheets in the immediate future and long term goals to move to a full exchange as soon as practicable
