WOW! A post from you that I can agree with ... mostly. Your post talks about the typical investor who either "marries" a stock or wants a safe return. Any investor who wants or needs a safe investment does not belong in BEHL right now. They are a startup and probability suggests that they are more likely to fail than to succeed.

I have invested my risk capital in BEHL. That means to me that while I don't want to lose money neither my current lifestyle nor my retirement is at risk if BEHL fails. From my DD, the potential for large gains looks very good. I am willing to take the risk. I may be wrong. Other people may look at the same data as I and decide there is too much risk for them. That is OK. Careful management of ones own portfolio and investment goals is a the key.
