first of all, thanks tal for telling me about this site. You wanted to post one of my comments from the yahoo board here. i have been reading it ever since. i hate the yahoo board now. it's full of bs.

so let's try to put 2 and 2 together... and discuss something

there has got to be something going on between ibm, tmta, sony and perhaps nvda beyond all the news. i've been doing a lot of dd and i can't help but think there is some correlation. as you all know tmta was strictly an ip (intellectual property) company when it ipo ed. ibm was a licensee, along with toshiba. tmta later switched business strategy to produce chips and bought those licenses back. the payment that tmta currently owes ibm, i've never been clear on what it's for, i thought for buying the licence back. Was it deffered because ibm wanted to incorporate lr2 into the cell processor?? that said, ibm, toshiba, and sony are working collectively on the cell, sony is a licencee of tmta, ibm and toshiba were a while back. sony and nvda are working on next generation gpu. nvda has always been "friends" with tmta. would they become a licensee as well?? makes sense, gives them a competitive advantage over ati in mobile gpu.

anyone else out there put these together? comments welcome
