Very True. Idenix's neighbors are 12-story CDM, a gas station, 3 run down houses and 2 nice ones. It is at the intersection of 2 very busy roads (hampshire and main) and the side street is filled in with cars waiting for service from the mechanic.
I worked there for several years. We used to get complaints about the trash, the loading dock, hvac, and leaving the lights on too long. This is typical for Cambridge. One neighbor with too much to free time is raising the issue at every town meeting. This is a one story building that is closed by five. If you don't like noise, don't live in Cambridge.
Hell, how long was Variagenics in there before Idenix? The building was originally a carriage house for the fire dept. Maybe they can bring back the stables and see how much better (although smellier) it can be.
