Even if the hiring Bullish mentioned falls into the category of your example, trading in 1 senior employee for 6 young tigers sounds to me like it could very well be growth of a sort, especially if you are advancing the overall capability of the company to execute it's business plan by doing so. (Not so hot, of course, for the $300K executive who was handed his/her walking papers.)
What's with the glass is half empty stuff, though? Lord knows we already have enough to objectively critique without searching for negativity where it may not exist.
Having said that, I'm as anxious for improvements in the company's communications effort as anyone else. I want to start finding out if the "goodies" hiding behind the curtain are really as exciting as I hope they are. I'm encouraged by moxy7's post-visit (Unilava/M3 HQ in SF) enthusiasm but am more than ready to hear a substantial amount of official news straight from the company over the coming weeks and months.
