riverandfold...Thanks for the concern. The big problem has been with the governments lack of response. Sort of reminds me of Katrina, but in that case it was not the governments or Bush's fault, it was our governor Kathleen Blanco who refused the help, because she was a DEMO like Ray Nagin (New Orleans mayor at the time).
We will survive, but it may take some time. Some folks have threw out a timeline to return to normal. They say it could take 10-13 years. This could get a lot worse, because there are (2) areas of disturbances in the Caribbean. One may turn into a tropical storm in the next day or so.

that sucks....thought they had gotten it somewhat fixed....well hopefully they can get those relief wells done in the next few weeks to alleviate the problem.
