The three days settlement is just that, you have 3 days to settle your account (pay for the shares you bought 3 days ago) but not 3 days to cancel a trade regarless of the reason, a BUY is a BUY. IMO of course.

That's my take but what the hell do I know remember I'm in Canada eh?
