I was kind of suprised no one chirped in about my selling dvd's directly at the NASCAR events themselves. What would they spend hopefully not a whole lot maybe a $2,000 per event rent a van fly to location rent the van have the dvd's in carry on or carry on and luggage. Probably could get 2,000 or have them shipped to a p.o. box in the city and pick them up there, but I would think some grandparents would buy for every family of grandchildren they have. Parents I think might buy to have for the kids.
I am sure someone smarter than me can figure the ins and outs of what it would cost and getting the dvd's to the track. If they could rent a stand and have a person man it and the dvd's delivered there maybe that would be the soloution, but I got to believe they could sell at least 500 at $10.00 which would bring in $5,000 even if they spend $3,000 they would make money but what if they sold 2,000 not bad for a weekend.
You have over a 100,000 fans plus crews and drivers and t.v. and other workers so if you sold 1/2% you sell 500. If you can't sell them at a NASCAR event you sure going to have a problem selling them in Walmart.
Maybe one of you would want to be a vendor for the dvd's and make money and also know how sales are going.
