if we do not have either a holding period or news to support the price

thats the beauty of it... for those wanting those BVIG you have to hold your KATX shares until they show up in your account ...thus it is very unlikely there would be any kind of major selloff as you would then forfeit the BVIG shares...well played by management IMO by not going the typical dividend route...because thats when sell offs occur, after an ex date...not the case here...
