Thanks for the responses itpaysyou and kingent

It's sort of frightening to me how many people on here just accept ALL information being kept secret and shrug it off as normal.

I guess I have my answer though. I still don't see how releasing financial information that was turned in to FINRA would cause the reaction people seem to believe it would. What reason would anybody have to call and harrass somebody if information was released - especially if it was favorable/positive information? Why do other companies not have this problem when they release information? Maybe the problem was that PETRO chose not to be transparent right from the get go and by doing this they built up so much doubt and bad feelings with it's investors that it's been forced into this position. By being transparent from the start like most companies are they would have avoided being put in a position to have to make themselves look worse and worse and worse as time went by hiding everything from their investors.

But I guess if I accept that answer and move on it still leaves my other question unanswered.

If somebody from PETRO was willing to release the stock symbol it is applying for would we be able to look up that stock symbol on FINRA's website and verify that the paperwork has been turned in and is being processed? I think just being able to verify this would make everybody happy .. hell it would make them overjoyed with excitement and at the same time it wouldn't put anybody in danger of receiving these pestering phone calls and emails that people are so oddly worried about. It would be proof that we do have a TA and verifiable assets and that an account and an SEC examiner have reviewed their parts, etc. Can somebody please chime in on that point?

thanks

p.s.

kingent, how were you able to see a signed letter on an attorney letter head showing a company value of $284 billion? Are you an employee of PETRO? If not what made you such a special investor compared to other investors?
