If I remember, that figure was based on some
company that supposedly had a cheap conversion
process. I don't know if that company is still
in play or not. My guess is that the strain of
algae that would be used to convert to bio-fuel
could be produced for $1.50 per gallon, but the
actual cost of converting that is where the big
costs come into play. This is purely speculation
on my part but that is the number I got from Behl.
