Ferry Boat Achieves Significant Cost and Pollution Reduction From EcoEmissions' CIS Product

TEMPE, Ariz., July 12, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Company has concluded a long term fuel testing on a ferry boat operation located in the Pacific Northwest.

Victoria Star

The Victoria Star 2 is a medium sized passenger ferry boat that runs between Bellingham, Washington and Victoria, British Columbia. Its three older 12V71 Detroit Diesel engines burn 23 gallons of diesel per hour for a total of 83,000 gallons per year. The EES system provided a reduction in fuel consumption of over 9.3% or 7905 gallons of fuel per year. Due to the introduction of the Eco CIS system, the Victoria Star now enjoys ongoing savings of $21,890 per year on fuel. Ongoing revenue to EES is $5,400 per year.

Because the EES Catalytic Injection System(TM) (CIS) burns less fuel and burns it more cleanly, it is estimated the Victoria Star 2 will produce 9 tons less of particulate matter and reduce 81 tons of carbon dioxide CO2 every year. In response to the benefits resulting from the change brought about by Eco Emissions CIS system, the Victoria Star 2 owners decided to paint their boat in EES colors and advertise their environmental improvement in all their brochures.

About EcoEmissions Solutions - EcoEmissions Solutions, Inc. proven patented emissions-reducing Catalyst Injection System(TM) (CIS(TM)) offers a global solution for diesel engines used in heavy industry and large marine applications around the world. The pre-combustion system (the only patented system of its type in the world), injects a platinum-based catalyst (nano) solution into diesel engine cylinders producing a more complete burn of the diesel fuel. Simply installed without modifications to the engine itself, the results are more power, lower fuel consumption, dramatically reduced pollution and an extension of engine life.

The catalyst is used as part of normal diesel engine operation, thus requiring replacement. The replacement of the catalyst provides ECMZ an ongoing and ever increasing revenue stream as the demand for the installation of the CIS system continues to grow.
