Paid in capital got the company started. I am long but what you say doesn't make sense. They are liquidating the company's only two material assets. The principals will likely take their money and deploy it elsewhere, not here. I expect a lot of activity on this board this coming week as it probably will be a last ditch effort to convince people either there will be a large dividend payment or not.
