Why raise the A/S and O/S if you are going to do a buyback as you suggest as one of your possibilities? Seems the two are opposing to each other.

Or was it a plan to raise the A/S to get the price to drop to the levels we are seeing to attempt a buyback?

Very interesting things to consider, and no I have no evidence supporting either...this is just pure speculation and "WHAT IFs".
