CXTI to Expand Marketing Team to Target the US$30.5 Billion Market in E-Government
Monday January 24, 12:22 pm ET

HONG KONG, Jan. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- China Expert Technology, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CXTI - News), a company that specializes in providing large- scale network infrastructure construction (mainly for e-government projects) for communities and municipal governments in China announced that the board of directors and chief officers are looking to reactively strengthen its marketing team to meet the foreseeable increasing demand of e-government opportunities and businesses.

According to several notable websites, the software and hardware construction under e-government all kick off with total investments over RMB250 billion (approximately US$30.5 billion) in 2004 in China. The large- scale and all-around construction of e-government in 2004 has laid a solid foundation for future development. Services-oriented and large-scale applications will be the trend for 2005 e-government administration.

The government can rely on resources in the society and adopt the new concept of outsourcing to strengthen participation of both government and enterprises. The e-government constructors have increasingly accepted this concept, and by 2005 it is expected to be fully implemented.

The overall approval of CXTI e-government and its highly appraised e- government model project in Jinjiang city has prompted more than ten officials from other cities who are in charge of e-government implementation to contact and negotiate for cooperation with CXTI. As such, CXTI expects a promising business performance in year 2005.

About the e-government project:

The e-government project is aimed to establish a national electronic government system, in which the existing and expecting government networks and applied systems can be combined to form united technology standard and regulation and consequently a united national government service platform. The term e-government is a process in which the government is able to take advantage of modern information and communication technologies to integrate the management and service on Internet, optimize and reform the government structures and working processes, and provide good and standard international administration and service to the society beyond time and space limit.
