I chose to participate in this forum with the hope and expectation that I could get away from several annoying characteristics that abound among posters in less desirable venues like RB and SI.

Specifically, like many of you, I despise the childish "who's is better" battles that rage with no hope of resolution. I also despise overt bashing. What I despise most, however, is the arrogant, condescending, snide and self-aggrandizing attitudes that many on those other boards take towards those with opposing viewpoints.

I went back and looked at my posts, trying to find something that I wrote that could be construed as provocation for this kind of rude, insolent response and could find nothing. I see now that this attitude is not the result of provocation by annoying posters, but istead is a character trait of many of you.

The header for this board openly welcomes opinions of both support and dissent, yet you people do not seem to miss an opportunity to to respond with contempt to anyone who even remotely questions anything having to do with you or Intel.

I have tried to be reasoned and polite with my posts and to participate within the TOU - specifically - simplified rule #2: "Be courteous and respectful of other folks." I would only ask that you do the same.
