How would you interpret that remark? That AMD would be doing much better, except that they have to deal with "normal yields"? Whatever happened to "world class yields" or "best yields in the world" (note that I am quoting AMD here - they have actually made those claims in the past!!!).

I suppose that if AMD had "best yields in the world" before, then "normal yields" right now could be interpreted as poor by comparison. Of course, it all depends on what your definition of "normal" is. What do you suppose AMD's definition is? Can you read between the lines, as Yousef has?
