I don't think it's fair to slam or blame the mods for that decision. It was posed to the board to get a general concensus if people thought it would be an investment worth making since Eric wasn't familar with that company. Everyone had the opportunity to voice their opinion, and even though there was debate on the subject apparently very few cast their vote.
