How about what you wear? How about your level of education about the product? Even companies who use the a consumer marketing type of business model (Amway, AVON) have quality control. I'm not saying that if you knew a restaurant owner that you should not mention it, or tell your waitress friend, but actually using investors as marketers would be moronic.
