Your ascending trendline only has two touches.. It is no stronger (In my opinion) than the current descending one that started at the high at around 1.6.
The way I see it, we are on our way back to the descending trendline at or around the 1.38ish area.
This should take a year or so to do.

I could be completely wrong and the bottom is rickety and failing but.. I don't think so... Just a gut thing.
