I'm all for humanity, but some say the Mexican healthcare system is superior to ours, if so, why are they rising their sick lives to cross the southern border to visit our hospitals?
Hmm... if you insist that healthcare is the cause of bankruptcies, given the choice of death or bankruptcy, I'll choose bankruptcy as most other poor people do. Yep, your instance of getting a nasty chronic illness, lose your job, run out of government issued healthcare and join the poverty line can be said for any and all countries in the world. That's life in this world. Think of the American Indians, if one got sick they would get some boiled bark, in Africa if you have migraines they cut into your brain, in Canada, you wait for rationed care. So our system has problems, so what? Why do we have to give it to the idiots that can't run a congressional diner? Who spend trillions of dollars like it's someone else's money? How about all those socialist countries who's socialism health care is bankrupting them? I guess it's better for EVERYONE to go broke and bankrupt rather than just the sick people that will probably die anyway (that just sounds cruel, doesn't it? Do you stop to nurse wounded roadkill back to health or do you just drive on?)
