Blackout period could be so Dean or anyone else doesn't say anything that may compromise whatever strategy they are excuting. A blackout period doesn't need to be any specific length of time as this may be THEIR strategy to insure nothing that shouldn't be said gets said. If my lawyer said shut my mouth then thats what I would do.
